How do you use Bona wood cleaner?
The refill cartridge is easy to use, allowing you to apply the cleaner with minimal effort and the microfiber cleaning pad will gently lift dirt and grime from your floors:
Remove the old cartridge (if applicable): If you're replacing an empty or used cartridge, gently pull it out from the mop system and discard it properly.
Insert cartridge: Take the new cartridge and align it with the mop's cartridge holder. Press down firmly until you hear or feel it click into place.
Activate the cartridge: Some Bona mop systems have a trigger or button that activates the cartridge. Press or squeeze the trigger/button to release the floor cleaner onto the floor. Ensure you follow the specific instructions for your particular mop model.
Prepare the area: Remove loose dirt and debris from the wood surface by sweeping or dusting it thoroughly.
Begin cleaning: Start mopping your wood floor using the Bona mop with the attached cartridge. Move in a back-and-forth motion, following the grain of the wood for efficient cleaning.
Refill or replace as needed: If you run out of cleaner in the cartridge before finishing the job, replace it with a new Bona Wood Floor Refill Cartridge following steps 2 and 3. Some cartridges are also refillable, allowing you to pour in Bona cleaner from a larger container if desired.
Finish and allow to dry: Once you've cleaned the entire area, allow the floor to air dry completely. There's usually no need to rinse off the Bona cleaner.
Dispose of the empty cartridge: If the cartridge is not designed for refilling, dispose of the empty cartridge properly following local waste disposal regulations.
